While the coronavirus has forced individuals and communities into isolation and is a true cause for concern, I encourage all of our friends, supporters and beneficiaries to respond with heightened caution and action, rather than panic and fear.  I encourage you to follow the guidelines and protocols instituted by our national and state health departments and professionals. Be mindful to practice good hygiene and social distancing.  And please take courage and confidence from the truths we hold so dear from the Scriptures.  God is faithful!  And He is good.

Some have asked if COVID-19 has affected the ministry programs at Feed The Hungry.  I am very grateful to share that the vast majority of meals served through the ministry centers you support are continuing unhindered and without interruption.  At present over 330,000 orphaned and vulnerable children across 26 nations, in the most desperate places on earth, continue to look up to heaven and thank God for the meal before them, day after day, because of you.

This historic moment is again a time when the sacrifices, efforts and inconveniences that each one of us embrace will add up to lives being saved, and to the burden of suffering being lifted from the weakest and most vulnerable in our families, our communities and our nation.

I know we can and will do what is needed to help one another, comfort one another and encourage one another, confidently assured that “the Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust”.

Thank you and God bless you for trusting God through this trying time.  As always if you have any prayer requests for yourself or your family or loved ones, please take a moment and let us know.  We will pray, trusting the Lord to show himself strong on your behalf.

God Bless You,
